Solvent Reservoir Filters
4CHROM Solvent Reservoir Filters Offered for both analytical and prep applications, 4CHROM's solvent reservoir filters provide you the choice of the more traditional cup filter design with a SS tube stem to fit the tubing over or the newest design which draws solvent from the bottom only, which we lovingly refer to as BottomFeederTM. The later reduces the likelihood of drawing air from the sides when the solvent level drops below the top of the filter. The SS frits available are in 2m and 10m porosity for analytical applications and 10m for prep flow rates. With the 4CHROM BottomFeeder reservoir filters, you no longer have to force the tubing over a stem, nor do you have to assemble any fittings, just slide the Teflon tubing into the female port until it comes to a stop. The internal surfaces of the Teflon body are designed to purge all air from the flow path. Analytical filters will fit solvent bottles with a neck of or larger and prep filters fit bottles with neck sizes of 1 or larger. |
